 | Debby Faithfull was born in Holland in 1973 and has been travelling and living all over the world ever since she was little. In her twenties she started working in hospitality and after studying as a Mensendieck therapist, she started working in the public health sector too, specifically with the elderly. She relates to them because they are good teachers for her. Four years ago she followed a 1 year shamanic training, whose practises she still uses in her daily life. The Ocean has always been a place of peace, one she feels a great respect towards. The sounds of the waves are directly connected to her inner space and this induces a calming and healing effect. Whenever she needs support, nutriment and positive energy, she will greet the Ocean and stroll along the beach until things get clearer. After doing a workshop “Oceandrum making” in Holland, two years ago, she got inspired to explore the creative side of herself.
Making drums and painting them gives her so much joy it opens up a whole new world! With the sounds of the drum it seems like the ocean is right beside you and it is this she would like to share with you!! Nowadays Debby lives with her partner, beautiful daughter and beagle in WA. Whilst living in turbulent times, she finds balance in outdoor life, yoga and meditation. Be true to your self and share your smile with the world!
